Interesting Ebook. But the myth you talk about still have so many debate. for example. website directory sometimes do not help to increase PR. It help only for temporary. In one of my old site. I was linking from many directory buy all disappear within 2-3 years. because your links will push deeper..
Agree with you. But still we can submit our blog or website to high PR directories. It is definitely worth. One example of such directory is DMOZ but it may takes so much time to get our site listed in DMOZ.
